Baked cauliflower Tots - healthy kids snack - baked better than fried

Hi there...



Cauliflower 65 is the only snack we make, but this is also an interesting quick recipe

Kids cannot find the hidden vegitable in this tots.

Simple ingredients, quick & easy to make...

Boil the cauliflower, add the required ingredients mix altogether.. and bake it.

It even tastes better deep frying...

. Course : appetizer
. Prep time : 10 mins
. Baking time : 15-20 min
. Side dish : any sauce or dip


Ingredients :

To boil :
. Cauliflower : 1 cup
. Water : in a pot
. Turmeric : 1/2 tspn
. Salt : as required

To make Tots :

. Boiled cauliflower
. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
. 1/2 cup rice flour
. 1 /2 tspn Ginger garlic paste
. Salt
 . 3/4 tspn chilli powder
. 1 tspn oil

Method :

Step 1

 . Boil water in a pot add salt & turmeric add the chopped cauliflower florets..

Step 2
. Boil for 3-4 min

Step 3
. Strain the water, add the boiled florets in a mixer jar, grind into a chunky paste...


Step 4
. Trasfer it into a bowl, add breadcrumbs, rice flour, salt, chilli powder, Ginger garlic paste, oil mix altogether...

Step 5
. Pre heat the oven @ 200°c for. 6 min

Step 6
. Make small tots, arrange in a baking tray

Step 7
. Place it into the oven @ 200 °c for 15-20 mins

Step 8
. Yummy, Evening snack ready,
Try it with hot tea...

Serve it hot...
