Tomato Upma - variety Upma - quick breakfast

Hi there...

Upma is very instant breakfast, but kids feel boring to taste it...

Here is twist of taste to regular upma...

Ingredients :
. Semolina : 1 cup
. Onion: 1
. Tomato : 2
. Curry leaves : few
. Ginger : 1 inch
. Mustard : 3/4 tspn
. Cumin : 3/4 tspn
. Bengal gram : 3/4 tspn
. Red chilli : 1
. Hing : 3/4 tspn
. Water : 2 1/2 cup
. Salt - as required

Serve : 1 bowl

Method:
Step 1
. Dry roast semolina in a pan for 2 mins ... Trasfer it to a plate..

Step 2
. Heat the same pan, add oil Mustard, cumin, Bengal gram, hing, curry leaves, Red chillie saute for a minute...

Step 3
. Add onion, ginger, & tomato cook till it gets soft... Add 2 1/2 cup water add salt let it boil...

Step 4
. Once the water boils, add semolina little by little.. mix well... Cover and cook in medium flame for 4-5 mins
Step 5
. Reduce to low flame, cover & cook for 2mis...

Step 6
. Tasty tomato upma is ready...
