Chammanthi is basicaly a kerala recipe..
It is a perfect side dish for
* Aappam
* Aval dosa
* Neer dosa
* Course : sidedish
* Prep time : 3-4 mins
* Cooking time. : 2 mins
* Serve : 1 bowl
Ingredients :
. Coconut : 1 cup
. Shallots ( small onion) : 2 + 3
. Red chilli : 1
. Kashmir chilli powder : 1/2 tblspn
. Salt : as required
. Curry leaves : few
. Mustard : 1/8 tspn
. Ginger : 1/2 inch
. Oil : 1 tblspn
Procedure :
Step 1
. Into a mixer jar add 2 onions. Red chilli, ginger. Coconut, Kashmir chilli powder. Grind into powder...
Step 2
. Heat a frying pan.. add oil, Mustard, curry leaves, and remaining onions ans saute for a min..
Step 3
. Add the grinded powder into the frying pan... Add required salt.. saute for 1-2 mins
Superfast dry chutney/ Chammanthi is ready...
