Carrot kheer - Indian dessert - quick dessert

Hi there...

Carrot kheer is an instant dessert..
Simple & quick to make...

Ingredients:
. Carrot : 250 grm
. Milk : 500 ml
. Sugar : 3/4 cup
. Cashew chopped : 2 tblspn
. Almond chopped : 2 tblspn
. Cardamon powder : 3/4 tspn
. Water : to boil : 1 cup


Serve: 2 cups

Method:
Step 1
. Wash the carrots, peal and cut them into small size.

Step 2
. Boil water in a pressure cooker.. add the carrots allow 2 whistles...

Step 3
. Transfer the boiled carrots with water into a mixer jar... Grind it into smooth paste...

Step 4
. Boil milk in a saucepan in medium flame.. once it boils.. reduce to low flame add carrot paste into it along with sugar, & cardamon..

Step 5
. Keep stirring for 5 mins..

Step 6
. Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew & almond till it gets lite brown... Add it into the saucepan...

Step 7
. Give a stir, let it raise once again...
Carrot kheer is ready to serve hot....

Note: It also can be served chill...

Delicious carrot kheer is ready...
