Chicken gravy

Hi there...

A simple chicken gravy with dosa, will tempt you to have few more dosa..
This chicken gravy also tastes delicious with chappathi & white rice..

Here is my simplified version of chicken gravy..

Ingredients:
. Chicken - 500 grms
. Cinamon - 2 inch
. Clove - 3
. Cardomon - 1
. Curry leaves - few
. Onion - 2 finely chopped
. Tomato - 1
. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbls
. Curd - 1 cup
. Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
. Chilly powder - 1/2 tblspn
. Coriander powder - 1/2 tblspn
. Cumin powder - 3/4 tblspn
. Gharam masala - 3/4 tblspn
. Salt - to taste
. Oil - 2 tblspn

Method:
Step 1
Wash the chicken throughly... Add 3/4 tspn of turmeric powder, and curd mix well.. Let it sit for 20 mins

Step 2
In a pan add cinnamon , clove, cardomon, curry leaves saute for a min..

Step 3
Add finely chopped onions, till it gets lite brown. Add ginger garlic paste to it.

Step 4
Along with sauted onion add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cummin powder, gharam masala and salt.. Fry for 2 mins.
Step 5
Once it is cooked, add in the marinated chicken & tomato.

Step 6
Give a stir, add 50 ml of water, cover and cook for 20 mins..

Step 7
Garnish with coriander leaves. Transfer it to a serving bowl.. Yummy chicken gravy is ready to taste...
