Kajada is a very special street food.
Very popular in road side tea stalls & bakery.
This vettu cake has it unique taste.
Crispy outside & spongy soft inside, the excellent taste of this cake make you eat one more.
Ingredients :
. 1 cup all purpose flour
. 2 tblspn rava / suji
. 1 tblspn rice flour
. 1 egg
. 3/4 cup powder sugar
. 1/2 tspn baking soda
. Oil to fry
. 2 cardamon
Method :
Step 1
. In a mixer jar add cardamon, sugar & egg, blend for 1 - 2 mins
Step 2
. In to a bowl add flour, rice flour, suji/ rice & pinch salt
Step 3
. Add egg mixture & mix into the flour , blend well..
Step 4
. Add baking soda. & make into sticky mixture
Step 5
. Heat oil in a kadai, fry small balls and let it cook all the sides for 2-3 mins
Step 6
. Crispy vettu cake / kajada is ready to gulp.
