Finger millet balls - rava laddu - kids healthy snack

Hi there...



Finger millet is very healthy nutrients food for kids...

Finger millet is very rich in calcium, iron and it contains good amount of fibers..

It a very good healthy snack for kids... It is made with jaggery so kids will like to take by themselves..

Ingredients :

 . Finger millet / ragi flour : 1 cup
 . Jaggery 1/2 cup
. Water 1 cup
. Cashews 10
. Ghee 2-3 tblspn

Method :

Step 1
. In a pan add a tblspn of ghee and saute some Cashew till it turn brown, trasfer it to a plate


Step 2
. In the same pan add ragi or finger millet flour and saute till it turns lite brown


Step 3
. Trasfer it to a bowl, add 2tblspn of ghee

Step 4
  . In the same phone add some water & jaggery and melt it down and boil it for 4 mins





Step 5
. Add the jaggery liquid little by little and mix into ragi & cashews



Step 6
. Make small balls ...



Step 7
. Healthy ragi laddu / finger millet ball is ready...
