A little bit creativity will make them like it...
Here Date nut barfi is full of iron rich nutrition..
Ingredients :
. Dates : 1/2 cup
. Almond : 3tblspn
. Cashew : 3 tblspn
. Poppy seeds: 3 tblspn
. Vanilla essence: 2drops (optional)
. Ghee : 1 tblspn
Serve : 6-7 barfis
Method:
Step 1
. Fine chop all the nuts
Step 2
. Dry toast poppy seeds in a pan for 2 mins in medium flame.. trasfer it to a tray .
Step 3
. Cut the dates into smaller chunks, add it into a mixer jar... Grind it until it gather into a mass.
Step 4
. Heat a pan add ghee, and nuts.. saute till it turns lite brown..
. Add grinded dates and mix all together for 4 mins...
Step 5
. Transfer all in to a plate.. add vanilla essence to it & mix it once
Step 6
. Apply ghee in your palm.. make it into a log..
Step 7
. Roll the dates nut log over the roasted poppy seeds..
Step 8
. Cut it into 1 inch circles.. it's ready..
Healthy nutty snack is ready...
