Very less ingredients to make..
Marinating paneer in yoghurt and sauteing with ghee & freshly grounded masalas
This paneer ghee roast have all the flavours..
* Course : Indian curry
* Prep time : 3 mins
* Cooking time : 10 mins
* Marination time : 20 mins
* Main dish suggestions: steamed white rice, roti & naan
Milk naan
Ingredients :
For marination:
. Paneer 1 cup or 200 grms
. 1/2 cup
. Salt
. Lemon juice : 1 tspn
To make masala powder :
. 2 tplsn coriander seeds
. 3-4 Red chillies
. 5 pepper corns
. 1 tspn Fenugreek
. 1 tspn cumin
. Small gooseberry size tamarind
. Water
For saute :
. Ghee : 3 tblspn
. 1 onion
. Few curry leaves
. 2 tblspn Jaggery
. Salt
Method :
Step 1
. In a frying pan.. dry roast coriander seeds, chillies, pepper corns, Fenugreek, cumin, tarmrind.. saute for 2 mins...
Step 2
. Trasfer it into a mixer jar, grind into a smooth paste by adding water ..
Step 3
. Add yogurt to the small cubed paneer and a pinch of salt, lemon juice and rest it for 20 mins
Step 4
. Heat a frying pan, add ghee, oinions saute till it gets transparent
Step 5
. Add masala paste, saute for a min, add jaggery let it melt..
Step 6
. Add the marinated paneer.. and cook till the masala thickens
Not more than 3 mins
Delicious paneer ghee roast is ready...
